GOOGLE GLASS: JUST SAY 'OK GLASS...'

Wearing spectacles is an overhead on most of us. No fun. No Entertainment.
But what if you send text messages, capture snaps, record videos, translate, find routes and etc.. and etc.. with it??
Yes, the times have changed. Wearing glasses will soon be fun.

God of the search engine, 'Google' has answered this prayer. A 'Bang...!' in the world of technology has struck. A baby glass has born. Smart and Visionary, this baby, named as 'Google Glass'.

What is Google Glass??
A glass, with a camera, touchpad, display, battery and a microphone. That's it.

If this is it, then what and how will it do it? Simple, All you need is to say 'OK GLASS..' & your genie will wake up. Sound recognition is bone-induced & not traditional voice recognition. It detects the vibrations of your skull when you speak.

As you say, 'OK GLASS' a very simple & neatly designed menu will appear on the upper right corner in front of your eyes. This is done 'to not disturb' your view. Menu has well justified 'KISS(KEEP IT SHORT AND SIMPLE)' principle.

You will feel your view from the glass as if you are viewing a 25-inch HD display from a distance of 8 inch. Though there are still talks on the native resolution, its perfectly defined to make your eyes stick to it.

Maps. Maps. Maps. Enough of street view, satellite & traffic modes on google maps. Just look at what is in front of you & speak 'OK GLASS.. Give me a route to.......'. You will find all the necessary details and nearbys. But hold on, a small pinch to present a fact, Glass does not has a built-in GPS chip. You need to pair it with your phone. You can pair it with any android phone. Needless to say, apple family is in the queue.

Glass comes with a 5MP camera that can record on 720p. Snaps can be captured. Videos can be recorded. All can be shared on your Google+. Using hangout, you can share what you are seeing.

Glass comes with a 16GB storage out of which 12GB will be available for users, also has built-in bluetooth and wi-fi. It has a micro USB charger.

For pairing Glass with your cellphone, you need to install 'MyGlass' app which will be available at play store. Soon, war of app makers is expected to make it best in its segment.

There is a good news for 'Miopians' and 'Hyper-Miopians'. Soon, you will be able to clip Google Glass with your current optics. Google is working on it.

Still nothing has been found on controlling your music or fitness with Glass.
But, "I never worry about the future, it comes soon enough" - Albert Einstein.

This baby comes with a blow of $1500 on your wallet. Seems pretty high. Still, it is, and will be considered a  ding in the gadget universe.

Very Nicely crafted on Glass..

Glad to see your optimistic comments towards Google's current work on Glass to incorporate more features ... :-)

Don't know how easy it would be to use in India in crowdy places and moreover will it be able to show the routes through galli's like in Ulhasnagar... :P
